Brady Kick

Brady Drum n Bass kick

Brady has built a smallish kick drum and put snares on it so that you can get that distorted 909 kick sound from an acoustic drum.

Slicknut

This is an alternative to a standard nut to hold your cymbals. Instead of spinning a normal nut on the threads you just press the button on the side of this gadget and slide it on. When you release the button an internal spring keeps it locked on tight.

Factory Metal

Factory Metal

Finally! Cymbals created specifically for goth drummers. No spun and hammered brass here, just loud nasty hunks of metal.

Duallist Triple Pedal

Until some mad scientists recombinant DNA experiments produce drummers with extra appendages, drummers will have to be satisfied with this kick pedal. You've got a standard linked double pedal setup combined with the Duallist pedal. There are heel-activated switches that enable the extra beater that will swing forward as the main one swings back.

Stick Enz

Stick Enz

Our friends at Grip Peddler have come up with a another innovation all in the name of traction. The Stick Enz are a non-slip wrap for your drums sticks. They don't use any adhesive and they are reusable. Drummer plagued with sweaty palms need not fear slipping sticks any longer.

Hip Trix Sticks

Hip Trix Sticks

If it glows you can bet it'll make the Oddities. These sticks are made of some sort of plastic that's impregnated with the material that makes them glow. That means the glow will not wear off. A modest glow will last for quite some time but for a shorter more intense glow just expose them to a black light for a few seconds.

Carbosticks

Unlike the Hip Trix sticks, these would be nearly impossible to find in the dark. These guys make carbon fiber drums sticks that will last quite a bit longer than normal drumsticks which means their rod-style sticks should last forever compared to their wooden brethren. They've got a new version that has the rods splayed out slightly giving them a very satisfying bounce.

Quik Stix

Quik Stix

Now that you've got all these new drumsticks you'll need somewhere to put them. This company has a number of products designed to lock onto hardware to hold sticks, cups, towels and even a tray. They look to be machined out of a solid chunk of aluminum, are available in a number of different color anodizations, and have a lifetime guarantee.

Kiss Cupholders

So you like the idea of a cup holder but don't need something that will take a direct nuclear hit? The Kiss Cupholders are made of injection molded plastic and simply snap onto your mic stand. The bit of velcro is just a safety strap.

Thumpers

Thumpers

Instead of stripping your bed to dampen your kick you can try these. You affix adhesive-backed velcro to the Thumpers and the inside of your drum shell and just stick them together. They are made of dense celled foam that does a good job of dampening the resonance of your kick.

Bead Brains

This isn't the first appearance on the NAMM Oddities for a product from On The Wall. You've gotta love these little molded skull shakers. They've even got a glow in the dark model as well. They make a dandy addition to the Skull Bongos from last year. And yes, I did buy some for myself.

The Vault

The Vault

This is one beefy cymbal case. Start with a full ATA case, add a bolt that connects to both sides, and then put wheels on it because it's gonna be damn heavy. The bolt is removable so you could use it for other things as well. Its apparently been around for quite some time but it's first I've seen of it.

Shaker/Bottle Opener

This was actually a giveaway at the Thompson Course Technology booth. It could be the beginning of a Swiss Army Shaker.
